An Approach Made To The Role Played By Methods of Geophysical And Geochemical Exploration of Gold Deposit In The Area of Zhaoyuan And Their Future Prospecting Orientation

Situated in the northwest of Jiaodong Peninsula ("Jiao" in Chinese, meaning "eastern part of Shandong Peninsula-Translator") is the city of Zhaoyuan, where more than forty gold deposits varying from large-to medium-and small-scale at Linglong, Dayin'gezhuang, Xiadi-an, Hedong, Jinchiling, Jinling, etc. have been pinpointed one after another within the area under the city's jurisdiction since 1950's, owing to the efforts made by geologists of a couple of generations. At present, the city of Zhaoyuan has already become one of the important gold producers in China. Nevertheless, with the mining of uncovered gold deposits, the critical status quo of shortage of backup gold resources gradually comes up and is being submitted to the agenda of decision-makers.
