Development of program-algorithmic support for estimation of the influence emergencies in designing residential and industrial territories on the basis of geoinformation systems

The concepts of risk and danger are considered. Methods for assessing the consequences of natural and man-made emergencies are described. The author substantiates the necessity of developing software and algorithmic support on the basis of geoinformation systems for assessing the impact of emergencies and developing management decisions.
