摘要

The helical and permanent crimp of the PTT/PET self- crimp fiber results in the excellent elastic recovery property. Therefore self-crimp fiber is best used and the fabric has soft hand and dimensional stability. While the residual deformation and internal stress was generated in the weaving process which can be eliminated by hot water treatment. This article analyzed the effect of the temperature and time of hot water treatment on the appearance modality, the crimp and elasticity of self-crimp fiber before and after treated in hot water. The results show that the proper treatment condition is 70℃ and 10 minutest. And the effect of temperature is more prominent than time by using the significance analysis.
