摘要

As a new kind of BF staves, much attention has been paid to copper cooling staves because they have excellent performance and longevity. The history and the advantages of he copper staves were introduced in the lecture. Copper staves hot test was carried out using all-scale stave experiment system which is developed by authors, and the temperature distribution and heat characteristics were studied. Another interesting experiment was carried out to compare the performances of two kinds of staves whose section shape were the conventionally round and the prolate separately. The test results were analyzed which could be used as the conferences in order to optimize the structure of the copper staves.
