Recently, Shale gas has become more and more outstanding among globle oil and gas resource. It is richrnin China, indicating that it will become a big potential for exploration.The lower Cambrian Qiongzhusi andrnLower Silurian Longmaxi Formation in SiChuan basin are two of the most important gas source rock,andrnproved to be high gas content,contributing to the key target exploration layers of south China.The Qiongzhusirnsample studied in the paper is picked from outcrop at south of SiChuan,in the period of the group’srnsedmentary,basin’s most dramatic transgression and shelf appear,in this kind of enviroment, Black, celadonrnshale containing carbonate and siliceous were formed, the thickness of shale layers in the south of SiChuan isrnabout 60~300m,with high organic matter volume(average TOC>2%),meanwhile,it has ran into a maturernstage(R0>2.0%).The Longmaxi sample studied in the paper is picked from outcrop at west of HuBei to eastrnof ChongQing, the Silurian is a kind of geology age during which crustal movement is most intense,forcedrnpalaeohigh area expanding,consequently, compulsive transgression happen in the region,and black shalernsediments containing orthograptus were contributed. The organic matter evolution and buried depth in thisrnarea is moderate, belonging to optimizing gas source rock.
