摘要

Based on analysis of architecture in trees at high planting density, the 'Fuji' tree architecture was classified into four types, i.e., the weak, the high-yielding in plain, the moderate -vigor, and the young with active growth. The target architecture for apple trees was moderate-vigor onr. Some functions to distinguish tree architecture were developed for use in classification of tree architecture.
