Cyclina Sinensis (Gmelin), a shellfish of Veneridae dwelling in bottom, is a common species in Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. Cyclina Sinensis has delicious taste, rich nutrition, high economic values, and of no silt in its body; it is a delectable morseks suitable for young and old, and is favored by consumers. In recent years, due to the pollution of seawater and excessive fishing, the resource of Cyclina Sinensis reduced greatly. According to the statistics of related data, the Cyclina Sinensis of Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea is only 1,200 tons now, which is far beyond the needs of the market. To strengthen the management of resource and the protection on breeding, to study the relationship between distribution, growth and breeding with the ecological environment can instruct the actual production.
