Plasmachemical Modification of Natural Polymers

In macromolecular chemistry natural polymers are subdivided into five classes (Table 1). There of them are the most interesting from the viewpoint of a plasmachemical modification: polysaccharides, lignin, and proteins. Nature produces them froma small number of monomers in a wide variety, usually in rather complex structures (cotton, wood, wool, etc). which comprise a mixture of different natural polymers and other substances.
