A Signaling Level Simulation for Mobile Communication Network

A prototype simulation testbed is developed for the purpose of evaluating the performance of a mobile communication system. The testbed consists of an interface, a simulator, a database, plus a display of the statistical output. Event management is done in the manner of time-driven. The simulated performance measures include call blocking probability, call drop probability, channel utilization, and system loading.
