Energy conservation and Missing value prediction model in Wireless Sensor Network

In Wireless Sensor Network (WSN's) the dissipation of energy is a primary problem. WSN works on battery system therefore they have no alternate option of energy source once their battery is drained, only that the battery has to be replaced regularly in order to ensure their proper functioning which is not practically feasible. Another major problem of WSN's is that they may lose data over transmission. Data loss is a rare but an ever-present threat to data. Data loss is probably the most dangerous. Now, data transmission loss can occur in two situations: a) Data loss on the way from sensor nodes to cluster-head (CH) b) Data loss on the way from CH to sink. This paper tackles these two major problems and try to solve them using two independent data models, Dual Prediction Model (DPM) and Data Prediction Using Correlation (DPUC).
