Seismic prediction of carbonate reservoir: A case study in Tahe Oilfield, China

摘要

The Ordovician carbonate rocks in Tahe oilfield, which suffered from multi-period polycycle karstifica-tion and structure deformation, are heterogeneous reservoirs that were composed of paleocave, pore and fractures. The reservoirs are diversified in scale, irregular, in spatial distribution and complex in filled components. A suite of seismic methods, aimed at different scale of the reservoirs, was developed and applied. Through an integration of the estimated results for different objects, reservoir features such as caves, pores, and fractures in the unakas were described in detail, which improved the understanding about spatial reservoir distribution.
