Gemcitabine is a standard chemotherapy drug in pancreatic cancer. However, it is instability in plasma and many tissues, and the half life is very short. To overcome such shortcomings, the gemcitabine bovine serum albumin nanoparticles were prepared by desolvation-crosslink method. The mean diameter of nanoparticles are 152.2nm, and Zeta potential is-24.4mV, drug loading was 11.2%, but the particles released the drug quickly in phosphate buffer solution. In vitro cytotoxicity research showed that there was no significant difference between gemcitabine hydrochloride and gemcitabine bovine serum albumin nanoparticles.
