Genetic, cytologica! and floral organs structural diversity and its adaptive trends to natural saline desert environments for some Asiatic annual haloxerophytes: S. pestifer, S. praecox and Climacoptera lanata (formely S. lanata) were investigated. Eight enzyme systems representing14-17 loci were analyzed: 6PGD, DIA, G6PD, GDH, GOT, MDH, PGM, PGI. Parameters describing 6PD, GDH, GOT, MDH, PGM, PGI. Parameters describing genetic diversity indicate a rather low level of genetic variation of investigated species in the presence of its high polymorphism of floral organs structures. A'similar number of chromosomes (2n = 18) have been detected for all examined taxa. Preliminarily methodological work on plant micropratural deserts populations coupled with clonal propagation through tissue culture may offer an alternative way for improvement and conservation of arid salt/affected lands in Uzbekistan.
