The electronic procurement system of the Hungarian government

In the paper the concepts of the planned Electronic Procurement System of the Hungarian Government is discussed. The definition of the concept started in June 1999 and the implementation starts in June 2001. The first phase of the project, which makes available an electronic catalogue to the organizations of the central budget, will be finished by the end of this year. The whole system will be operational in 2003.
