摘要

The existence of pressure drop hysteresis in a countercurrent-flow fixed-bed is recognized in experiments. Gas and liquid flow rates and operation modes have influence on the hysteresis while the liquid flow rate has the most remarkable effect. The hysteresis could be interpreted by the nonuniformity of liquid flow distribution and the multiplicity of hydrodynamic states of gas-liquid flow in the bed.
