摘要

This paper, through mechanical properties tests on steel bars after high temperature, presents their properties such as yield strength, ultimate tensile strenth and modulus of elasticity and establishes relevant formulas. The specimens are 66 round bars ( phi 10), 66 threaded reinforcing bars ( phi 16) and 66 high tensile carbon steel wires ( phi ~sS), which are heated at high temperature from 100 deg C to 900 deg C, then cooled in three different modes of cooling in air, in water and in test-furnace. Meanwhile, the paper approaches the effect on mechanical obtained have an important significance on the evaluation of the damage degree of reinforced concrete member after a fire.
