Application and Research of Automatic Voltage Control System for Power Grid

摘要

Along with the rapid development of the Chinese economy, a large number of loads with high capacity, strong impact and change rate are accessed to the power grid. Meanwhile, the loads on the power grid change quickly in the morning, at noon, and at night of the whole day, and the voltage and reactive power cannot be adjusted by operators in time. In additon, the requirement for high quality supply voltage is increasing. Hence, the target of this article is to research the automatic voltage control (AVC) technique of the smart grid, and analyze the principle of automatic voltage control system, the establishment of the structure, control functions, and results in the practical application.
