Investment Opportunities in the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Projects and Development: The Emerging Cleaner Fossil Fuel of Higher Energy Efficiency

The LNG remains one of the cleanest, cheapest (except electricity) and higher energy efficiencyproducts toward the actualisation of global energy and utilisations. In these studies, concise effortwas used to review the LNG process description and most importantly, the liquefaction processes in amodern scope. The focus on this paper is to highlight the various LNG investment opportunitiesglobally. Apart from the usefulness of LNG production for economic gains, it help in reducing theflaring of global natural hydrocarbon which are further transform into economy values andenvironmental friendliness. In term of financial gain, Nigeria alone generates an approximate sum ofrevenue above $200 million US in a month, while the global world through LNG production has anapproximate benefit to the tune of $5 billion US monthly. The interest on this study is to highlights theinvestment opportunities and possible gains to the investors in the oil and gas projects, because of itsviability and high economic advantages in various ways when LNG is compared to other fossil fuel.
