We simulated the motion of capsules with different membrane constitutive laws near a plane wall. By determining which length parameter minimized the differences between the constitutive laws, we determined that there are different mechanisms behind the lift and slip velocities associated with near-wall capsule motion. Other areas to be explored in the future include the effect of non-spherical initial shapes, as well as a non-unity viscosity ratio between the inner and outer fluids.
