摘要

Intermediate levels of myofibroblasts can improve twitch in an EHT, but high levels can prevent twitch both mechanically and electrically. Results suggest that treatments for fibrosis associated with modulation of myofibroblsts must seek an optimum rather than complete elimination of myofibroblast density.
