摘要

At present, GFRP becomes popular in the construction of communication towers for its excellent mechanical behavior. In this paper, the structural behavior of GFRP communication monopole under wind load is analyzed on the basis of nonlinear finite element method and the effects of various parameters on structural response of the new type tower are considered. The results show that GFRP is practicable and designable in communication monopole. Finally, further research orientations of GFRP communication monopole are provided.
