FDTD Analysis of Light-beam Scattering from DWDD Disk with Control Layer

摘要

In this study, we investigated readout characteristics of a domain wall displacement detection (DWDD) disk with a control layer by means of FDTD method. DWDD is one of the high-density storage technologies of magneto-optical (MO) disks and the control layer is used to suppress ghost signal due to rear process. We studied the effects of the control layer on the readout characteristics.
