摘要

This paper will identify consequences attributed to residual electrostatic charge on a web and its impact within a hazardous environment, including an explanation on the benefits of computer technology providing information on static conditions and neutralizing equipment status. Concluding with an outline on the importance of diagnostic and performance data logging in an effort to provide valuable information for internal quality control and the added value for post-accident investigations.
