The tees of pipelines are characterized by the complex spatial distribution of stresses and their high level even under normal operational conditions.The experience gained in operating of arterial and industrial pipelines, technological piping systems, gas stations and other pipelines shows that there have occured defects dangerous for operation as well as destruction of tees caused by displacement ofpipe joint supports relative to the design points.The algorithm of calculation of the stress-strain state in the tees is presented. The algorithm is realized in the three-dimensional finite-element code based on the theory of thickwall shells.The code, described here, allows one to determine the degree of danger resulting from the change in the position of the supports and, therefore, the possibility of their further operation until the restoration of their position or their repair.The calculations are made both in elasticity and in plasticity.
