Abstract: The grating as a chromatic dispersion component in a grating monochromator has various diffraction efficiency for parallel (Ep) and Vertical (Es) polarization directions to the gratin grooves. Sometimes, efficiency anomaly appears on some wavelengths. Moreover, the reflective efficiency of the reflection components depends partly on the polarized direction of the incident radiation, so the strong polarization response appeared in the grating monochromators. The polarized state of incident laser to the sample must be affected by the installation of outer optical system in Raman measurement, so optical components must be arranged with carefulness, and the effect of the polarized state of the laser beam on intensity of Raman spectrum do not be ignored when the samples are radiated.!4
