The breakdown for dielectric liquids has been the study of many investigators. Also it has attained the discussion and analysis under different theories. The present approach deals with the analysis of energy stored problem at electrode interface. The sphere plane configuration is used in the present analysis. In this paper the influence of the sphere radius and external applied pressure on the breakdown field has been deduced. The relationship between the square of the breakdown field intensity and electrode radius assumes similar characteristics as Paschen's curve with a minimum value at critical sphere radius, which differs from one dielectric liquid to another, depending on the surface tension pressure, liquid density and gravity.
