The polygonal mirror (PM)-based laser scanner is a most used optomechatronic device-for a large range of applications. The aim of our present research is to develop an experimental stall for dimensional measurements using such a scanning head. The theory we have completed for PMs is utilized [Duma, 2017]. The uni-dimensional scans are studied. The measuring solution proposed is based on the correlation between time, rotational angle, and the object dimension in the direction of the scanning speed.
