Typical Standards Developing Organization Case Analysis and Its Enlightenments to China's Standardization Development

摘要

The principles and procedures of standard developing are very critical to standards developing organizations during their standard developing process. IETF is an important international civil organization which is one of the large standards developing organizations in Internet area. IETF's standards affect how the Internet works greatly. This paper analyzed the principles and procedures of IETF standard developing. The main process, stages and conflict resolution and mechanism of appealing of IETF standard developing procedures were studied. Then on this base, the enlightenments to China's standardization development were put forward in order to provide reference and help for the standardization in China.
