The interfaces and external systems of operation control system (OCS) are investigated according to the communication modes and functions. The information flow diagrams of OCS are analyzed in terms of four perspectives, including information flow driven by operators, information flow driven by drivers, information flow driven by on-board controllers, and information flow driven by location components. Eventually, the functional architecture of OCS is derived from the information flow diagrams.
