摘要

The lethality enhancement of a kinetic kill vehicle is a cutting-edge technology of any airdefense and anti-missile weapon system. Relying on the Xi'an Modern Chemistry ResearchInstitute’s leading technology research platform of propellants, explosives, air defense andanti-missile missile, it was proposed to enhance the lethality of a kinetic kill vehicle schemeby linear explosive charge. The lethality enhancement of the kinetic kill vehicle technicalparameters and damage effect index was calculated in detail. It was proposed to applyreactive materials fragments in order to improve the ability to impact and damage the target.The key technology and test results have been achieved and are summarized.
