摘要

In this paper, a study of a small-diameter tubular linear motor for biomedical applications is presented. The performance of the motor, through its maximum force and losses, is evaluated as a function of the variation of several design parameters. This is done by performing a numerical analysis using a finite-element analysis software. Moreover, using Simulink, a position and force control strategy is designed and tested. Finally, a prototype has been built and some preliminary results are presented.
