Concentration system for Cu(In,Ga)Se2 microcells arrays

In this paper, the first coupling between CIGS micr°Cells arrays and luminescent solar concentrator ispresented. Concentration factor of 1.16 has been measured on an un-optimized device, in accordance withcomputational modeling results. Different loss mechanisms are identified and their respective weights on thisparticular system are investigated. Some leads for improvements are given to double the concentration factorexperimentally found.
