In order to extend the application of results of confirmation and registration of the right to rural land contractual management(CRR-RRLCM), the Yongji City in the Shanxi Province of China was selected as the study area. Based on the CRR-RRLCM, the crop planting structure (CPS) in the study area was obtained. The accuracy of CPS was tested by the field investigation method. Some important conclusions were list as follows. (1) There were 14 crop types in the study area, which were major fruit tree and wheat. The total area of crop in the Yongji City was 59971.16 hm2, which were refer to 271116 contract plots. (2) The fruit tree was mainly in the southern of Qintou Town and the northern of Kaizhang Town, and the wheat was major in the southern of Kaizhang Town, northern of Yuxiang Town, Chengdong Residential District and Chengbei Residential District. The Vegetable, Chinese medicinal crop and other crops dispersed in the whole study area. (3) The accuracies for all crops in the Yongji City were all over 80%, and the average accuracy of crop planting structure was 90.02%. The accuracies of fruit tree, cotton, nursery, Vegetable, Chinese medicine crop and other crops were above 90%, the accuracies of sorghum, Tuber, sunflower, wheat and maize were below 90%. (4) Compared to other methods, the method used in this study was simpler operation, lower cost and higher accuracy. The conclusions from this research could not only provide the scientific basis for improving the CPS in the study area, but also would be helpful for planning the agricultural development.
