摘要

This paper identifies traffic zone division and location of users' residence and work place in Songjiang District of Shanghai City based on mobile phone data, which can be used to analyze residents' commuting characteristics. Then, we proposed a novel way to discuss human activity space by means of anchor point theory. Classifying the important arrest points as anchor points helps locating the important points of residence in the living space as an anchor point. This paper described human activity space by convex polygons whose size represent the spatial range, length-width ratio represents the ductility. Meanwhile, we found that the size obeys an exponential distribution. This conclusion has very important practical application value for traffic and urban planning.
