Tectonic -physiognomy-climate cycle coupling is one of the focus of modern earth system science. A mass of geological facts suggest that geological hazards can be consanguineously related with tectonic, physiognomy and climate. Tectonic -physiognomy-climate cycle coupling in stage which means the physiography stage-tectonic rhythm-climate cycle coupling, dominate the conglomeration of geological hazards both on space and time. In this study we establish the coupling model of physiography stage, tectonic rhythm, climate cycle and geological hazards, based on the coupling and relationship between physiography stage, tectonic rhythm, climate cycle and what effects they have on the occurrence of geological hazards. We emphasize the analysis of physiography stage-tectonic rhythm-climate cycle coupling and discuss on how to make this kind of research go further.
