摘要

Magnetotelluric(MT) sounding is a geophysical technique to research subsurface electrical structure by using the natural electromagnetic field. MT is successfully used in the fields of mining, engineer geology ,and the Earth deep structure detecting. Static shift is a very severity problem that disturbs MT data processing , influences the data processing result and the explantion result.Spatial domain low pass fiitering can remove the acutely appearant resistivity changes which are generated by local electric inhomogeneities, and so eliminates static shift. This paper uses a new static correction method based on a two-dimension mean filtering technique onto realistic MT data. And the result shows that this method gets good effectivity.
