1. MMD found to be better than the end fed die at producing MLFs with thin secondary layers. This is due to the change in flow direction of each layer and the mesh not fully capturing this in the end fed die. 2. MMD approach is also better at producing a film with clear edges, particularly for thinner secondary layers. Also found in production. 3. Uniform flow at the outlet obtained from both systems. 4. MMD shown to be capable of handling large viscosity ratios. 5. Experimental validation and thermal studies planned in the future.
