The analysis of JiangTong''s 540° twisting Yurchenko in horse vaulting

With cameras and TJ-Motion software, this research focused on the kinematics of jumping, on-flight, hands push, the off-flight and landing of Jiang Tong''s 540° Twisting Yurchenko in horse vaulting in 2010 National Gymnastics Championship held in Xiantao, Hubei Province. With the analysis, data was obtained and there came to the conclusions that: Jiang Tong''s on-flight cost short time. While flight, her torso trunk brake skill was to be improved. She needed to strengthen the lumbar muscles. And because of her strong arms, Jiang Tong''s off-flight was high. In that case, athletes and coaches can have a better knowledge of the skill to drill and improve performance.
