摘要

Acoustic method applying to the measurement of velocity or temperature fields in furnaces is an efficient, non-intrusive and full-field measurement, based on a vector or a scalar tomography algorithm respectively. This paper discussed a principle of the acoustic signal sampling in the method, which is essential for the achievement of right flight time of measuring acoustic signals. An empirical model was proposed with the choice of a proper sampling rate of acoustic signals for the measurement, which was based on the error propagation theory. The sampling scheme was validated through a series of experiments on a bench-scale rig, and satisfactory results were achieved. The principle proposed here might cast a new light on issues against sampling in a measurement research.
