Combinatorial inhalatory co-delivery of drug and antisense oligonucleotides for treatment of lung cancer

The inhalatory local delivery of anticancer drugs in combination with Antisense Oligonucleotides (ASO) suppressors of pump and nonpump cellular resistance was proposed for the efficient chemotherapy of lung cancer. The present experimental results show high antitumor activity and low adverse side effects of proposed complex inhalatory treatment that cannot be achieved by individual components (drug or ASO) applied separately.
