In order to overcome these problems that the more computation deviation and computation distortion existed in the zigzag mesh which adopted in the present casting software uses widely. This article had study on the filling process based on the adaptive boundary mesh, the results showed the filling result was not different from the actual filling process, when the grid size was bigger, and the difference was larger. Along with the grid size decreased, the result was closer to the practice, so this method needed a lot of computation time with low computation efficiency. However the adaptive boundary mesh had the good compatibility to the curved surface, especially to the casting with complicated shape and many curved surfaces, it incarnated its extremely good compatibility. This method could guarantee the computation precision and enhance the computation efficiency at more few grid numbers; it was one kind of good optional project to the filling question.
