Based on Dempster-Shafer evidential theory, the theory of multi-sensor fusion is applied to the targets identification of terminal guided projectile in this paper. By giving priority to decision tier and taking characteristic tier as a supplement the system deals with the targets information and forms the theoretical evidence, thus forms corresponding basic probability distribution function. Applying the Dempster-Shafer evidential theory, and incorporating every unattached evidence into a new one the overall basic probability distribution function can be formed. And the decision is then made. This technology avoids the limitations of single sensor and reduces the uncertainty of each sensor. The simulated results validate this method.
