In the present numerical simulation of the one-dimensional blast wave, a one-dimensional simple shock tube is considered, with a very short driver section at an extremely high initial pressure, followed by a very long, low pressure driven tube section. The perfect gas is assumed with the ratio of specific heats gamma=1.4. Unsteady, one-dimensional Euler equation is solved.
