Tetrathiafulvalene-7,7,8,8-tetracyano-p-quinodimethane (TTF-TCNQ) thin films were prepared on common glass by chemical vapour deposition (CVD) at low pressure and using tetrathiafulvalene and tetracyanoquiondimethane as precursors. The layers exhibit a preferential orientation in the crytallization along the (001) direction and have a room-temperature conductivity of 6-24 OMEGA~(-1) cm~(-1). The evalaution of the stoichiometry was performed by UV-Vis spectroscopy. Crystallite orientation was determined by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. The morphology andstructure of the layers were also studied.
