This paper presents the findings of our indoor experiments which succeeded in the composition of the ultra-early-strength cement agent TM and the development of the compound cement RM. Under normal temperature, application of this material to the urgent maintenance of airfields makes it possible for the pavements to be ready for use within 8 to 24 hours. This paper also makes, in connection with the material's performance in practical application, a rather systematic study of corresponding technology, which was successfully applied at Beijing International Airport in 1995 and 1997.
