Cement concrete pavement is a very important type of the pavement for high-class highway with a large traffic capacity. The level grade and the slip-proof capacity of the pavement, as well as the vibration and the noise of the traffic on it are some indices to evaluate the quality of the cement concrete pavement, which have a close relationship with safety and comfort of travelers traveling at high speed on cement concrete pavement and in which the highway engineers and technicians as well as travelers have always been interested. How to improve the quality of the cement concrete pavement? On this issue, a lot of studies from both home and abroad are concentrated on the composition of cement concrete, the abrasion-resistance of the microstructure and macrostructure, the structural forms, construction technology, and the methods to evaluate the slip-proof capacity etc., few studies are concerned with the whole pavement, the different surface forms, and the joints' treatments etc.
