The main body of a book is based on collecting the deep 342 base pits engineering accident, note different responsibility branch,different shoring structure form, the different working depth has carried out statistic analysis,got a few meaningful conclusions. the conclusion follows as:(1 )the cause of constructing and designing fault is main part bringing about an accident;(2 )According to shoring structure forms, the first three place is row pile, the soil-nail shoring and deep stirring-pile, whose wreckage frequency all account for 84.1%;(3 )According to working depths, excavation depth being in 6~10m excavations wreckage frequency maximal, is 0.457.
