Given the information available to humans, do they make rational decisions? Access to different availability of information, is there any difference in decision-makings between SD learners and non-SD learners? Does SD knowledge help reduce irrationality and make better use of available information? In order to make deep research on human decision-making behavior in dealing with different degree of information availability, I designed an operational planning game to make such test and compare the performance of SD-learners and non-SD learners. Based on the hypothesis of the experiment and the data we collect from the game, we conclude that SD knowledge can help make more rational decisions when the information is less. However, the SD-learners and non-SD learners perform at the similar level when given full information, which also means that information availability influence more on the non-SD learners' performance. In addition, even though perfect information is given, the subjects' performance is far from satisfactory when compared with the optimal decisions.
