Hybrid simulation models are few, if any. System dynamics simulation differs from other simulations in that it adopts a "top-down" approach while others, such as multi-agent system and discrete event simulation, adopt a "bottom-up" approach. The implementation of system dynamics is based on a discrete event simulation, which iterates with a fixed increment. Having analyzed the implementation of system dynamics, hybrid simulation can be implemented on other platforms. The Hybrid simulation is suitable for the study of natural as well as social system, particularly the latter.System dynamics can hybrid with the following types of simulation: multi-agent system, discrete system simulation and new algorithms.
