Abstract: problem of laser eye-microsurgery and a proposed new method of laser iridopuncture to affect the predetermined points of an incessantly moving eye. Solving the problem, we aligned a sharp `laser needle' with a TV system and slaved it electro- optically to be always centered in a tracking window. Preliminary image processing includes histogram normalization resulting in the possibility of a fixed threshold selection for binary quantization of an image. TV correlation-tracking realizes a minimum absolute difference algorithm with the size of a tracking window 16 $MUL 16 pixels and the field of search 8 pixels greater in orthogonal directions. The laser beam is Bragg-diffracted on a moving sound wave in a TeO$-2$/ crystal. A frequency synthesizer controls the deflection of a laser beam and operates in the range from 50 to 100 MHz quantized in 0.1 MHz steps. Maximal switch time is 1 ms. Investigations on animals and treatment of human volunteers were made. !11
